New version of Quicksilver and shortcut to the blog

Made a .tk redirect to my blog (I can't afford a .com domain yet :P) at djww.tk. I adjusted some levels in Quicksilver so some parts were more prevalent. I made a zipped file of my EP, Mach IV, including An Introduction to Technology (Mach IV Mix), Clash, and Quicksilver (Mark II). Click here to download Mach IV. I'm still working on that trance song that I started in FL Studio, but I haven't done anything with it in a few weeks. I think I'm just going to drop it and start a fresh one that I have in my head. I'll probably just post what I have on it so far in a bit.

Update

Well, I'm off school now, so I'm gonna be able to focus on producing music a bit more. I got the demo of FL Studio and I'm working on a song in it. Still need to learn how to control anything. Sounds great so far, not sure when I'll have it done though.

Getting a MIDI keyboard soon!

In about a month, I'll be getting an M-Audio Oxygen 49, so I'll start making my own stuff with little reliance on loops, in contrast to my complete use of them previously. I'll probably start off with a remix of "Forever Young", but no promises. Just know that I'll will actually be composing and scoring my stuff from now on.

Welcome to my blog!

Hi, I am DJ Worthwyle and welcome to my blog, Worthwyle Productions.

Let me give you some background information on myself. I first got interested in electronic music at a young age when I got a Fatboy Slim CD. When I got older, I started listening to trance and house music by (but not limited to) Cascada, DJ Mangoo, Daft Punk, Justice, Junkie XL, Fatboy Slim, Kaskade, Deadmau5, and Digitalism. I was inspired to create electronic music, so I took action and started experimenting with loops in GarageBand. While I was doing this, I became frustrated due to the lack of variety and control with the loops. My first track, entitiled "An Introduction to Technology" was the product of my first expermenting with house in GarageBand. I recently downloaded a demo of FL Studio and am experimenting with that. For now, enjoy my first track!
